The Department of Laboratory Medicine is heavily involved in the education of Yale undergraduate students, medical and graduate school students, and post-doctoral fellows. Department faculty members also participate in programs at the Yale School of Nursing and the Yale Physician Associate Program.
The Department of Laboratory Medicine provides training for residents seeking Board certification in Clinical Pathology (CP), as well as for residents pursuing Board certification in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP). more...

The Department is engaged in a number of community service activities. Prominent among these is the Science Education Outreach Program which utilizes resources from our Department and the Departments of Immunobiology and Genetics.
