• Instrument capabilities: Three laser system, up to 8 compensated colors, 10 colors total
• 8 color experiment example: FITC, PE, PE-Cy5, PE-Cy7, APC, AlexaFluor 680, APC-Cy7, RFP
• Single cell deposition into slides and various size multiwell plates. Cells can be sorted into 5,15,50 ml, Eppendorf test tubes and small Petri dishes.
• Desirable concentration of cells: up to 60x10^6, depending on the cell type and amount of material.
• Limitations: No cells transformed with viruses or human/primate cells can be sorted on this instrument.
