Blood Bank

Yale-New Haven Hospital Blood Bank provides:

high quality transfusion medicine care to the patients at Yale-New Haven Hospital and several outpatient facilities
education to medical students, residents, fellows and medical technologists
support for a variety of clinical and basic science research studies.

The Blood Bank is also proud to house the Richard D. Frisbee III Laboratory for Hematopoetic Graft Engineering in conjunction with the Yale Cancer Center, and to provide oversight of the Tissue Banking Program.
