Welcome to the Weatherbee Lab

Our lab uses forward genetic screens to identify new genes required for cell fate decisions in the mouse. Potential projects include mapping and characterization of current mutants coupled with genetic and physical interaction experiments to relate these novel genes to known pathways.

Current Projects

We are interested in the cell fate decisions that sculpt the formation of organs and tissues. One of the most informative ways is to identify genes which, when mutated, disrupt that...

Lab Techniques

Instructions for a number of lab protocols and recipes relating to molecular biology as well as visualization of mouse transcripts, proteins, and tissues.
