Intracellular Fill of a Single PGN Neuron

Intracellular injection of a single perigeniculate neuron (cell to left) with biocytin reveals its axonal (to right) and dendritic arbors (around cell body). These cells densely innervate restricted regions of the dorsal lateral geniculate nucleus where they synapse exclusively on thalamocortical cells.
