The Calculated Reversal Potential is Steady During the UP State, Indicating a Balance Between Excitation and Inhibition

The reversal potential of the network synaptic activity during the UP state starts at around -20 mV, but quickly stabilizes at about -37 mV. The calculated conductance (part c) during the UP state increases and then slowly decreases, as does the multiple unit activity in the network. The calculated excitatory and inhibitory conductances also increase and decrease together, keeping the reversal potential relatively constant.
