John Murray PhD
Center for the Neural Science - New York University
Dr. Murray's research is in Computational Neuroscience. He is currently a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Xiao-Jing Wang, in the Center for Neural Science at New York University. I received my Ph.D. in Physics at Yale University. His current research interests are in the dynamics of cortical circuits that subserve cognitive functions. To investigate these issues, Dr. Murray analyzes neural data and build neural circuit models across several levels of scale and complexity, ranging from detailed microcircuitry to long-range interactions between brain areas. His research also extends computational modeling in the study of neuropsychiatric disorders. On all these fronts, he works closely with experimental collaborators.
