Web Planning

Our office provides planning and initiatives for both the overall organization of the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) and the individual entities comprising it. We offer web planning services free of charge to entities within the Yale School of Medicine. We like to think of ourselves as a "think tank" and a "swat team." We address issues affecting the school and resolve them for the entire school by stepping in, creating solutions, and then allowing people to do the work for themselves. We are always here as a resource for any web initiatives or needs.

Web Template Initiative

The goal of the template initiative is for all integral organizations at the Yale School of Medicine to use this design, helping to reflect that they are members of the YSM community, as well as providing online visitors with reliable guideposts as they navigate our complex institution. • Free editing software so you can update your site yourself.
• Deployment of a photographer to help with images for your site.
• Navigation and content advice.
• Facilitation and collaboration with ITS.
• Free upgrades and updates periodically added to your site, including a "print view," the Google search, a "mobile view" of your site, and use of any applications mentioned below.

Application building

Our office will organize and facilitate any project that provides help to a majority of entities in the school. Current applications in the process of being built include:

• Faculty database
• Clinical trials database
• Scheduling application for resources
