Physician Biography

I am a liver and gastrointestinal pathologist  and surgical pathologist with expertise in pathology of non-neoplastic and neoplastic liver diseases, liver transplant, gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary diseases, and non-neoplastic and neoplastic lung diseases. Along with my colleagues, we analyze biopsy or surgical resection specimens to make a diagnosis and help understand important aspects of the tumor and disease processes. We characterize biological and pathologic features, and suggest possible targets. We participate in the tumor boards and provide input on cases in which tissue samples are needed.
