Susan S Kashaf MD, MPH
Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Medicine)
After completing residency in Internal Medicine at Yale, I joined the General Medicine faculty as a clinician-educator at the West Haven Veterans Hospital. This position has given me the opportunity to care for an amazing population of patients while also teaching and learning from Yale internal medicine residents and medical students. In addition to attending on the inpatient wards and on the medical consult service, I precept residents in longitudinal clinic and in ambulatory block rotations. I am part of a core faculty examining the teaching and assessment of Clinical Skills at Yale Medical School and teach first year medical students in Professional Responsibility, a 5 month course focused on ethics, health care delivery and professionalism.
