Biographical Info

Dr. Powsner teaches Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry residents, and advanced medical students. He has been on faculty over 20 years and has been Medical Director of the Crisis Intervention Unit within Yale-New Haven Hospital's Emergency Department since 2000. Prior to joining the faculty at Yale, Dr. Powsner was on the clinical faculty at the University of Chicago. He had a private practice in downtown Chicago.
