Dr. Antaya has lectured around the US and abroad and has written many articles and book chapters on various topics in pediatric dermatology. His clinical endeavors include a Pediatric Vascular Lesion Clinic, which provides diagnosis and treatment for vascular lesions. He is the founder and Director of the Yale Multidisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Conference, a forum for patients with highly complex vascular disorders. He treats children with severe inflammatory skin disease, especially recalcitrant atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, cutaneous infections, severe acne, pigmentation abnormalities, nail disorders, and hair loss.
He participates in clinical trials regarding treatment of skin disease in children, including research in the treatment of atopic dermatitis, the etiology of genetic skin disorders and is currently evaluating a novel painless treatment for common warts.
Dr. Antaya is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Pediatrics, Past President for Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and the co-founder and co-director of Camp Discovery, Connecticut, a summer camp for children with chronic skin disease, sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology.
