Providing excellence in patient care in the nuclear medicine therapeutic and diagnostic arenas. Establishing optimal protocols and strategies for molecular diagnostic and therapeutic (cold and hot=radionuclide or radio-labeled antibodies) techniques that may improve long term survival, progression free survival, and impact recurrence rates, especially but not exclusively in thyroid cancers, lymphomas , radium 223 therapies for bone metastases and samarium bone therapies; Advancing imaging techniques and improving the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of nuclear medicine studies Incorporating original radiotracers and novel Positron Emission Tomography - Computed Tomography (PET-CT) and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography - Computed Tomography (SPECT-CT) techniques into the clinic Radioactive iodine 131 treatment for thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism Zevalin and Bexxar treatment for lymphomas Radium 223 treatment for bone metastases in prostate cancer patients Samarium bone palliation therapy
