Biography

Kelly Dodge, MD is the Director of Resident Simulation at YCMS.

She graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Yale, serving as chief resident in her final year. She has completed a medical education fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Dodge coordinates resident scheduling, high fidelity simulation education, assessment and remediation throughout participating residencies at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is a national speaker on resident milestone assessment, having led panels and workshops on this topic. She is the advisor for residents participating in research projects at YCMS and assists in manuscript preparation and submission.

She is currently funded by the Department of Defense on helping to create a tissue model for medic field training. Her current research interests include ACGME resident milestone assessment and remediation.
