Therapeutic Radiology/Radiation Oncology: Radiological Physics
Dr. Su obtained her bachelor‘s degree from Chang Gung University in Taiwan in 2001. Her major was in Radiological Sciences. She got her master‘s (MS) degrees from Tsing Hua University in Taiwan in Medical Physics. Her thesis was related to functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She received her doctorate in Radiological Sciences, Therapeutic Medical Physics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2009. Her dissertation is about radiobiological evaluation of four-dimensional radiation therapy and adaptive tomotherapy. From July 2009, she works as a radiation physicist at the Department of Therapeutic Radiation at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. She is an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. Her research interest is in radiobiological assessment and prediction of radiation therapy. Currently, Dr. Su has been the author/co-author of 9 peer-reviewed papers and 21 abstracts in different journals, such as Medical Physics and Physics in Medicine and Biology etc.
