Dr. Durham is an Associate Research Scientist in the Center for Infectious Disease Modeling and Analysis at Yale School of Public Health. His research focuses on understanding the transmission dynamics of infectious diseases to improve public health interventions. He employs a range of techniques including differential equation analysis, simulation, cost-effectiveness, and uncertainty quantification, and has modeled the transmission dynamics of Hepatitis C, HPV, Clostridium difficile, dengue, and chikungunya. He received his BS in Physics from the University of Illinois and his MS and PhD in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
