Biographical Info

Dr. Aryan Shayegani joined the Yale Eye Center in January 2006 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology specializing in cornea and external diseases, cataract surgery, and comprehensive eye diseases. She earned her BS at Cornell University and her MD at Cornell University Medical College. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at Harkness Eye Institute, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and her cornea fellowship at Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has served on the faculties of the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Tokyo Dental College, Department of Ophthalmology. She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and The Cornea Society.
