Biographical Info

Roger works as an independent researcher and policy advisor. He was appointed to YSM faculty in 2008; he is also an honorary Associate Professor of Medical Ethics and Law, Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, Bond University, Australia. He is former subject lead on health care ethics and law at Keele University School of Medicine, UK, and during his time at Keele he developed and co-ran a medical student exchange program between Keele and Yale Universities with Professor Rohrbaugh (Psychiatry). He is currently advising on workforce development at the Ministry of Health, New Zealand and is a former adviser on standards, ethics and education at the General Medical Council (UK). Based in London, he writes on professional values, ethics, public policy and medical education.
