Post Graduate Positions of Alumni

The first graduating class of the Yale Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program was in 2002. Graduates of the Yale Medicine/Pediatrics Residency have pursued a wide range of professional opportunities ranging from clinical practice to academic medicine to subspecialty training. Nationally, graduates of combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency programs pursue generalist careers at a higher rate than graduates of either pediatrics or internal medicine residency programs. Our graduates are successful in obtaining subspecialty fellowships in the most competitive programs in both adult medicine and pediatrics.
