Biographical Info

I am a true blue having been at Yale since 1979. I went through the Yale MD-PhD program (in immunology, genetics of the murine MHC), did a pathology residency at Yale and then post doc in Flavell lab (T cell tolerance). I have been working with the Pulmonary and Critical Care section and the Thoracic Oncology Program on various research projects basic, translational and clinical. I have a small lab at the VA interested in role of macrophages in pulmonary fibrosis. I am director of the introductory medical student course in pathology, recently become director of medical studies for pathology and a member of the medical school curriculum committee.
