Dr. Talwalkar's interests include primary care residency education, curriculum development and evaluation, resident teaching skills development, cystic fibrosis, and transition of care. He sees general internal medicine and pediatric patients at the Children's and Family Health Center in Waterbury, CT. He also serves as Associate Director of the Yale Cystic Fibrosis Adult Program based out of the Winchester Chest Clinic at Yale–New Haven Hospital.
His educational interests include curricular development for residents and students. He is the course director for medical student physical examination, and is the editor of the Yale Primary Care Pediatrics Curriculum (pcpc.yale.edu). He supervises residents and medical students in both the inpatient and outpatient settings at Yale and Saint Mary's Hospital.
