Clinical Interests

Allergic rhinitis; asthma; food allergy; drug allergy; urticaria (hives); angioedema (hereditary and idiopathic); anaphylaxis; common variable immune deficiency (CVID); eosinophilic disorders (EGID and hypereosinophilic syndromes). Patients interested in comprehensive allergy testing (environmental, food or drug allergy) are best seen at the North Haven office (203-287-6200). Dr. Hsu provides aspirin desensitization to patients with aspirin-sensitive asthma with nasal polyps (aka aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease or Samter's triad) at the Winchester Chest Clinic (203-785-4198). Patients with asthma, hives, angioedema (allergic swelling), or needing evaluation for immune deficiency may be seen at either location.
