Biographical Info

With more than 20 years administrative experience in higher education, Alexandria (Xandi) Garino has served PA education for over seven years. Xandi joined the Yale PA Program in 2006 as the academic coordinator. Committed to the development of competent PA clinicians and the global advancement of the PA profession, Xandi currently team teaches the Introduction to Research course and teaches history taking and physical exam skills to the medical and PA students.She serves as a facilitator for the Faculty Development Institute of the Physician Assistant Education Association and as a member-at-large of the CT Physician Assistant Foundation. Xandi is a practicing physician assistant at the Yale Cancer Center and earned a MS in Biostatistics and Clinical Research Methods at Columbia University.
