Geriatric Medicine

This Section of our Website outlines the Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. Under the Directorship of Dr. Margaret Drickamer this program is open to qualified M.D./D.O. candidates who have finished a internship and residency in an U.S. ACGME accredited program in Internal or Family Medicine who have completed rotations in geriatrics. Each fellow will gain formal training in teaching, will be the primary educator for medical students, internal medicine residents, and specialists, e.g., residents and faculty in surgery and gynecology. Fellows will learn how to use a variety of resources, including web-based teaching materials, virtual patients, small-group workshops for medical students, resident curriculum design, and program evaluation.
