Biography

Roger works as an independent researcher and policy advisor. He was appointed to YSM faculty in 2008 and is former subject lead on health care ethics and law at Keele University School of Medicine (UK). Whist at Keele he developed and co-ran a medical student exchange program with Yale University in collaboration with Professor Rohrbaugh (Psychiatry). He is a former advisor on workforce development at the Ministry of Health, New Zealand, and a former adviser on standards, ethics and education at the General Medical Council (UK). Based in London, he writes on ethics, professionalism, public policy and medical education.
