I have been with the Yale School of Medicine in the section of Digestive Diseases working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease program since 2012. I am also part-time faculty at Gateway Community College in the nursing program. I received my BSc in Public Health Education, with a focus in sexually transmitted diseases, from Temple University in Philadelphia prior to transitioning to my nursing career. My nursing experience includes medical, cardiac, trauma and surgical management of patients in the Intensive Care Units. I obtained both my BSN and MSN from Thomas Jefferson University, also in Philadelphia. I am a board certified Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner and currently pursing my doctorate at Yale University School of Nursing. I'm a patient-centered healthcare provider, advocate and educator.
