Yale Stress Center

The Yale Stress Center provides a setting for both treatment and research to co-exist. Our clinical treatment services address ongoing stress and stress-related behaviors that negatively affect health. Cutting edge interdisciplinary science on the deleterious effects of stress and adversity, how stress and lifestyle choices promote chronic diseases, and new treatments to optimize functioning under stress is being conducted to improve health outcomes and preempt disease and relapse.

Clinical Services include extensive stress evaluation and diagnostic assessment, thorough biomedical analysis for stress, health, and immune functioning, stress reduction workshops & retreats, guided breathing, relaxation training, mindfulness-based stress reduction, stress management and emotion regulation skills, personalized life coaching, individual and group therapy, biofeedback, nutrition, exercise, fitness and weight loss, acupuncture, yoga, medications, dietary supplements, and integrative medicine evaluations. 

The Yale Stress Clinic is located at 2 Church Street South (Doctors Building) on the Yale Medical Campus.

The Integrative Medicine Center at Griffin Hospital

The Integrative Medicine Center (IMC) is located at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut. The Center was designed to address the public's growing interest in alternative therapies while balancing the need to identify the safest and most effective treatment options available. The IMC provides a unique service to a wide range of patients including those with conditions for which conventional therapies have been unsuccessful or unsatisfactory, those reluctant to access conventional care, and, those simply interested in health prevention.
