Biographical Info

Dr. Liu, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Yale Eye Center, specializes in glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery and anterior segment diseases. His clinical interests include medical and surgical management of glaucoma, laser treatment, routine and complex cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implant, and other anterior segment surgeries. Dr. Liu completed his ophthalmology residency in the George Washington University and served as Chief Resident during his senior year of training. He completed a glaucoma clinical fellowship in Yale University. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Liu is also actively involved in clinical and translational ophthalmic research. He published multiple scientific articles and presented his findings in many national and international conferences. Dr. Liu is an active member of American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Society of Glaucoma, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
