Ice Hockey, Scuba diving, Sky diving, and Traveling (Especially Backpacking)
Past life:
I was in Anesthesiology for 4 years, while doing so I worked in Nigeria with Médecins Sans Frontières as an Anesthesiologist. There was also a period where I only played ice hockey.
Academic Interest:
Global Health and Emergency Medicine system in Japan.
Favorite activities in New Haven:
Rollerblading all over town with my yellow lab, including the Rare Book Museum (a perfect area to play fetch), dog park, and the pier to let my dog swim... I love my dog!
I also love to play drop in ice hockey at Yale Ingalls Rink, it is such a fantastic rink!
Why Yale’s Emergency Medicine Program:
Yale’s program has amazing opportunities in global health, ample elective time and great faculty. Yale maintains fantastic balance between academic and community emergency medicine. I am very thankful to be able to train at Yale and have such great colleagues to work with!

I played in the 2011 Women's National Championships (Ice Hockey) for Team Connecticut.
