Why Yale’s Emergency Medicine Program:
The Yale Emergency Department is a large part of why I chose this field - the camaraderie and support I experienced as a medical student allowed me to fully appreciate the dynamism and rewards of being an emergency medicine physician. I had no reservations for signing on for another 4 years.
Random factoid:
My medical school thesis was based on a garden-based nutrition intervention conducted in rural Dominican Republic
