Kelly L Dodge MD
Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine; Associate Director, Medical Simulation
Dr. Kelly Dodge completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2008, where she was chief resident. During her final year in residency she was awarded the ‘Resident of the Year Award’ by the Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians (CCEP) and ‘Outstanding Clinical Skills in Emergency Medicine’ by the Yale Emergency Medicine Faculty. Dr. Dodge served on the Technical Expertise panel at the 2008 SAEM Consensus Conference “The Science of Simulation in Healthcare”.
As Co-Director of Healthcare Simulation, she has developed interactive simulation scenarios and procedural skills training for residents. She assists Dr. Evans in directing a 12 week simulation course for third year medical students. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of CCEP and is an ATLS instructor. Her research interests include skills transfer of simulation skills to the clinical setting and communication during trauma resuscitations.
