Fellows are required to complete at least one Global Health related research project of publishable quality during their fellowship. A single project may fulfill both the MSc and fellowship requirements. Fellows may participate in ongoing faculty research efforts or develop their own projects in conjunction with a faculty advisor. Fellows are encouraged to apply for grant funding to support their work and prepare them for future careers where appropriation of funding mechanisms may be of relevance.
Fellows will receive guidance and mentorship during their training to help develop the necessary skills for research design and analysis. All research activities must fall within the guidelines and policies of both LSHTM and Yale University ethics and Institutional Review Board bylaws.
