Application Materials
Thank you for your interest in the Yale-LSHTM GHIEM fellowship. Interested applicants are invited to submit applications using the below guidelines.
Prerequisites
- Applicants will be board certified or board eligible for the American Board of Emergency Medicine
- Applicants must hold an unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the United States
- Applicants must be able to travel and live outside of the USA for periods of 6 months per annum.
Application Materials
Please ensure that all applications are complete prior to submission with the following materials included:
- Current Curriculum Vitae
- 3 Letters of Reference
- 1 page letter of interest
The above documents should be submitted in electronic format to the fellowship director at: simon.kotlyar@yale.edu. The application process opens September 15, 2013, and the application deadline is November 15 2013. Fellowship interviews will be held during late November / early December.
Letters of reference need not accompany applications; however they must be received by the interview date.
LSHTM Application
Applicants must apply separately to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine – Masters of Science in Tropical Medicine and International Health. Please visit the LSHTM webpage for further details and application materials. Acceptance to the fellowship program is contingent upon successful application to LSHTM. Candidates do not need to initiate the LSHTM application until acceptance into the program is conferred in January.
