Dr. Jill Wruble, DO is a board-certified, fellowship-trained diagnostic radiologist who serves as a staff radiologist at the Veterans Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut. She is a member of the faculty of both Yale Medical School and the University of Connecticut Medical school as a Clinical Assistant Professor. She is very involved in resident education; in addition to supervising Yale residents, she serves as a member of the Resident Education Committee of the American Osteopathic Association, is an American Osteopathic Board of Radiology Certification Exam Team Member and has participated in drafting the gastrointestinal and genitourinary board exam sections. Dr. Wruble is also a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Veterans Physicians and Dentists.(NAVADP). Dr. Wruble had previously served in private radiology practices in the Minneapolis and District of Columbia areas, moving with family requirements. Before that, she was a physician in the United States Army.

Dr. Wruble is a graduate of Williams College and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She served in the United States Army Medical Corps, including a tour as a general medical officer at the 43rd Mash, Korea, and completed her internship and residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C,. She subsequently accepted a fellowship in body imaging at the Georgetown University Medical Center. She retired from the Army with rank of major.

In her non-professional hours, Dr. Wruble is a guitarist . She has a substantial interest in women’s issues and sports medicine. She is a triathlete, road cyclist and marathoner who has participated in challenging events , including the Mt. Washington bike race, Tough Mudder and the 132 mile six-gap bike climb in Vermiont. She is married with two children and the stepmother of three others.
