Perks

Residents are afforded 4 weeks of vacation per year. Except for long distance trips, vacation time greater than 2 consecutive weeks is discouraged. Residents are provided an annual expense fund for essential textbooks. Residents who present at national meetings are reimbursed for their expenses from departmental funds.

Social events: Residents are invited to summer picnics, fall clambakes at Hammonasset Beach, annual Christmas parties, and informal happy hours. Our graduation is always a huge success, celebrated with a festive dinner party annually. These events are held at the departmental level, which gives an excellent opportunity to interact with our radiology colleagues, and each resident is encouraged to participate.
