HEALTHCARE HACKATHON

2017

Exciting News!

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale Medicine is partnering with the Yale Center for Biomedical and Interventional Technologies (CBIT) to host in the 2017 Healthcare Hackathon!

Interested in innovation and tackling issues in the healthcare system? Join us in the Healthcare Hackathon on Jan. 20 – 22, 2017, located in Harkness Auditorium at Yale Medical School. Please see flyer.

The theme of the CBIT-Radiology Healthcare Hackathon is “Re-engineering patient experience and provider engagement”, with two special tracks on ‘Future of Medical Imaging’ and ‘Process Redesign.’

The event will bring together a diverse and forward thinking community of engineers, designers, entrepreneurs, patients, providers, payers, and industry leaders in a weekend-long event to address challenges and opportunities in medical imaging and image-guided therapies, including devices, software, workflow processes, patient experience, and data analytics.

The application to participate is open through December 16: http://www.yalehackhealth.org/

Should you want to apply to serve as a mentor, please send an email to the CBIT Hackathon Team: yalehackhealth@gmail.com

We have all faced our challenges within the healthcare system, and this is the opportunity to come together, share those challenges, and develop innovative solutions that can change medical imaging and patient care.
