Cindy Miller, M.D. receives the "Jack O. Haller Award" for Excellence in Teaching
The Society of Pediatric Radiology (SPR) presented Cindy Miller, MD with the “Jack O. Haller Award” for Excellence in Teaching - April 2007. This commemorative conference in Miami marked the Society’s 50th Annual Meeting. Dr. Miller, Associate Professor and Co-section Chief of Pediatric Imaging in Diagnostic Radiology, is the third person ever to receive this rare award.
The prestigious “Jack O. Haller Award” for Excellence in Teaching is given in memory of Jack O. Haller who excelled as an educator, mentor, and author. His ability and enthusiasm stimulated many young medical students and residents to pursue a career in pediatric radiology.
Dr. Miller was honored because she has demonstrated her outstanding ability to educate trainees (medical student, resident, and fellow) and she has shown sustained substantial excellence in mentorship. We congratulate her on this esteemed distinction and we are proud to have her dedication and commitment to teaching our residents and fellows.
