Lori Geary is an Associate Director of Quality Measurement Programs at CORE. She has expertise with qualitative and quantitative research methods and extensive experience directing quality measure development and implementation of claims-based and registry-based measures for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. In this role, Ms. Geary oversees subcontracts to professional societies, and research and policy organizations. Over the past two years, she launched CORE’s Patient Engagement group, ensuring the patient voice contributes to healthcare quality improvement, aligned with CORE’s mission of advancing patient centered care. Prior to joining CORE, Ms. Geary directed local and national projects for 5 years for a research firm focused on transportation safety issues such as impaired driving and graduated licensing, under contract with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and the Connecticut Department of Transportation. She received her MPH in health policy and administration from the Yale University School of Public Health.
