Biography

Kyle completed his MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan in 2017. There, he worked as a graduate researcher in the field of dynamic mathematical modeling of infectious disease transmission (particularly influenza), conducting literature reviews, statistical analysis, and model development to explore the relationship between illness, behaviors and contact patterns, and transmission. He previously gained research experience as an undergraduate student in biomedical engineering (University of Connecticut, class of 2013), and interned for a time in the community health and prevention group at the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Kyle hopes to bring his academic and professional experience to bear in the field of population health, by systematically identifying and mitigating causes of morbidity.
