Misty Ginicola’s research has focused on using a developmental lens to understand the varying experience of depression in children. More broadly, she is interested in the experience of mental health problems in school settings, and the development of empirically based interventions which can be utilized in a school setting. Misty is currently the Senior Associate of Research and Evaluation at The School of the 21 st Century; there she works on several evaluation projects, including 21C efficacy studies and 21CCLC impact study in Independence, Missouri.
