Board certified Adolescent and Child Clinical Psychologist, received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saint Louis University. Completed my pre and-post doctoral work at the Yale Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine. Specialized in trauma, focusing on at-risk children and adolescents. Currently an Adjunct Instructor at Yale School of Pediatric Dentistry for the Growth and Development course. This course provides a general introduction to the area of Developmental Psychology and a survey of developmental processes that influence the growth of the physical, intellectual, and socio-emotional aspects of the child from infancy through adolescence. Lecture series is integrated into 1st and 2nd year pediatric dentistry curriculum. In addition, as the Associate Research Scientist with the Cultural Diversity/Family Therapy I co-facilitate didactic seminar which focus on gaining cultural awareness, sensitivity and competence with in the context of diverse families.
