Child and Adolescent Pediatric Consultation-Liaison Service

This program offers a broad range of psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and young adults who are under the care of the pediatric service of Yale-New Haven Hospital. The Consultation-Liaison Inpatient services include psychiatric evaluations, developmental assessments, behavioral treatments, short-term psychotherapy, pharmacological treatments, parent guidance, and consultation to medical staff. Additionally, the residents and faculty of the CL-Service provide didactic lectures to residents and medical staff on a variety of topics. At present, several pediatric outpatient specialty clinics also receive consultations form this service. The specialty clinics include the Pediatric Craniofacial Clinic and the Hero’s Pediatric Oncology Clinic. Services are provided by psychology and psychiatry fellows, as well as members of the Child Study Center Faculty.
