Daniel Radoff

Daniel is interested in the mechanism of membrane fusion from a molecular perspective.  In order to look at the mechanism by which SNARE-mediated membrane fusion occurs, he’s attempting to prevent complete zippering of the SNARE-pin artificially by forcing the C-terminal ends apart artificially.  If he can isolate such a construct, it will prove useful in structural and mechanistic studies of the SNARE-mediated membrane fusion pathway.
