The instruments in the CCMI Macromolecular X-Ray Crystallography Facility represent a substantial investment and resource for the research community. These resources are made available to investigators on a first-come first-served basis.
- Effective Monday, November 25th reservation of resources is through the online scheduling system.
The FRS Scheduling system should no longer be used.
In order to see a resource’s availability schedule and book time slots, you must first request access to that resource by contacting the administrator, James Murphy for the available resource. Guidance is available athttp://tools.medicine.yale.edu/system/www/resource-help.html.
Everyone informed via email has been granted independent access to the resources based on historical usage this calendar year, 2013. As new users of the online scheduling system, you will need to setup a payment account.
To create a new payment account, go to the “Payment Accounts” area and click “New Payment Account
Once you are logged into the system, you will see that resource appear under the heading Your Resources. You may now access its schedule by clicking on it.
Under Reserve Resource, you will find a calendar with available slots in green. To book a time, click a slot and click Submit Booking.
If the resource requires payment, you will first be prompted to choose one or more payment accounts. If you have multiple accounts, you can choose which account to charge to, or allocate the charge across several accounts.
You can view your booking history under Usage Reports. Here, you will see all of your previous reservations. Your upcoming reservations are listed under Browse Resources.
Use of the facility by fully trained individuals is allowed after hours and weekends. In case of emergency, the telephone number of the Associate Director, James Murphy is posted at various locations around the lab. Access during regular hours is preferred due to the available support.
