Susan Chmael, APRN, MSN

Susan Chmael’s entire career has been primarily in the domain of Oncology. She received her Master’s in Nursing from Quinnipiac University after which she joined the Breast Oncology Team at Yale. Prior to that she practiced in a variety of clinical oncology settings which continued to foster her love for oncology nursing. She joined the Smilow Cancer Genetics and Prevention team in 2016 with the hope that she could make a difference in the outcome of oncology patients. She believes that through genetics and prevention we are making that difference for patients considered "at risk."
