Research Interests
Minimally invasive surgical techniques; Ovarian stem cell research; Micro-RNA; Novel biologic agents for treatment; Early detection of ovarian cancer
Research Summary
Our goal is to understand how a cancer cell becomes chemo-resistant. We have isolated the cancer cells that demonstrate this resistance and are working a method to either reverse the chemo-resistance of another means to destroy these cells.
