Research Interests

I am interested in the development and evaluation of pathology driven and clinically applicable computer aided diagnosis and treatment planning techniques based on the analysis of medical image data. I am specifically interested in developing these strategies for low cost, noninvasive imaging modalities such as ultrasound and stereo-photography. My current work is on spatio-temporal segmentation in left ventricle echocardiography from raw RF datasets. My academic interests lie in applied partial differential equations, estimation and control, computer vision, pattern recognition, and signal/image processing.
