Lawrence Baruch Cohen PhD

Professor of Cellular and Molecular Physiology

Biographical Info

I pioneered the development and use of optical methods for following, on a large scale, rapid electrical events that underlie brain activity and changes in ion concentration in biological systems. Some contemporary imaging methods of modern neurobiology and cardiac physiology are founded on these developments.
