Biography
PhD in Cell Biology and Postdoctoral research (U of Chicago) on cilia and flagella.
Trained over 35 graduate and post doctoral students, most of whom have academic positions at major US and foreign universities. Research initiated the studies of cilia- dependent diseases (ciliopathies) and the role of cilia in cell signalling. Major awards include the E B Wilson Award for research from the Am Soc for Cell Biology.

- Intraflagellar Transport ParticlesItaly 2008Professor Rosenbaum conducts collaborative research with Professor Romano Dallai of the University of Siena into cryofixation and electron microscopic examination of flagellar intraflagellar transport particles.
